COVID-19 Update

As you know, the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, directed the cancellation any gathering larger than 50 people. This Order is valid until May 30, 2020.  Accordingly, to comply with the Order the event has been cancelled.   

We have officially cancelled the in-person event at Whistler and will be planning a virtual event in its place likely during the same or similar time frame. We will be surveying our members in the coming weeks in developing our new program and dates. 

For those who have already registered, we will be providing a full refund to all attendees and exhibitors who have already paid for the live event and will email you once the refund has taken place.
 

Reservation Cancellation

If you have made reservations with the Fairmont Chateau Whistler through our group reservation discount, you should have recently received an email notification of the room cancellation.  There is no penalty for the cancellation.  Please see a sample of the email below:

Good Afternoon,

Thank you so much for your recent booking at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler with the BC Pharmacy Association 2020 Conference.

As you have already been made aware by the Group organizers, in light of recent developments with COVID-19, the Group has elected to cancel. Given this change, your existing booking has been cancelled at no penalty.

If you are still planning on joining us at the Chateau for your originally scheduled booking and travel dates, we will be very pleased to welcome you and of course will honour these original arrangements. If you are still planning to join us and have not yet been in communication with our team, please reach out to us at 1-604-938-8000 or cwr.reservations@fairmont.com so that we may make the necessary arrangements and ensure a flawless upcoming stay.
