The BCPhA is offering a skills training workshop for pharmacy technicians to gain hands-on experience in administering intramuscular injections. This 7 hour in-person workshop was developed in accordance with the BCCDC’s COVID-19 Immunization Skills Checklist and will led by an experienced injection-certified pharmacist instructor. The intent of the course is to prepare technicians to meet the BCCDC Skills Checklist in order to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. Please note that this is not a certificate program nor is it mandatory, as the Order does not require a specific program for in-person education.
