The Provincial Prescription Renewal Support Service (PPRSS) webinar will provide an overview of the new provider-to-provider pathway that supports continuity of care for eligible patients. Speakers from the Ministry of Health will outline the criteria for using the service, staff responsibilities, how to refer a patient, and what happens next. There will be time at the end for questions.

What is the Provincial Prescription Renewal Support Service:
As of January 24, 2023, community pharmacists can reach out to the Provincial Prescription Renewal Support Service (PPRSS) to renew a prescription outside their current scope of practice for unattached patients that meet eligibility criteria.
