The British Columbia Pharmacy Association (BCPhA) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide the provinces’ community pharmacy and pharmacy owners through the next phase of growth and sustainability of pharmacy practice in BC.
The BCPhA is a not-for-profit organization registered under the BC Society’s Act. Representing more than 4,000 community pharmacists and pharmacy owners, the organization is the voice for the profession in BC. A governance Board sets strategic and policy direction for the Association. The CEO and leadership team have operational jurisdiction for all aspects of the day-to-day management of organization.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, through the Chair of the Board, the CEO provides strategy and policy recommendations and drives forward the Strategic Plan. They develop and maintain a close and trusted working relationship with the Board.
The Association is looking for an experienced and dynamic leader, who will build a strong working relationships with the Board and staff team. They will be the leading representative working on behalf of the BCPhA with PharmaCare and other senior members of the provincial government as well as with the Association’s members and others in the health care sector.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished executive who can lead in a complex regulated environment. They will maintain the Association’s position as the authoritative voice for community pharmacy in BC.
Salary range $200,000 - $250,000.
