Katherine Cooper (Kahwahteeket Muska Iskew – Digging Bear Woman) is from Mosakahiken Cree Nation in Manitoba. She has a passion for teaching, healing and fiercely advocating for the rights of Indigenous people. She currently serves as a Knowledge Keeper and the Elders Program Coordinator at Lu’ma Medical Services and spearheads their traditional medicines programming.
