September 20, 2017 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
– Digital Delivery, Vancouver BC

Join us Wednesday, September 20 from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. (PST) for a live webinar presented by the BCPhA, in collaboration with the BC Provincial Academic Detailing (PAD) Service.

Developed in collaboration with Do Bugs Need Drugs, Dr. Patricia Chan, a Clinical Pharmacy Educator with the BC PAD Service, will provide the opportunity to discuss:

  • how to differentiate asymptomatic bacteriuria from a urinary tract infection,
  • when urinalysis and urine culture are useful (and when they are not); and
  • the risks associated with unnecessary antibiotic use.
