Nominations open for 2026 Pharmacy Excellence Awards

How to nominate (you can also nominate yourself):

Nominations are now open. You have until Feb. 17, 2026 to submit your nomination.

Please complete the online nomination form, or send individual nomination letters to awards@bcpharmacy.ca.

All nominations must include the full name and place of work of the pharmacist being nominated. Nominees must also provide their names, contact information and relation to the nominated pharmacist.

Once you have submitted a nomination, nominees will be notified that they are nominated. 

A BCPhA staff member may contact you or your nominee to ask for additional materials to give your nomination the best chance of success.

The BCPhA Awards Committee will meet in late February/early March to select award winners.

Not all categories may receive an award. Award winners will be contacted and invited to participate in the filming of an awards video, which will feature the award winners along with their supporters speaking on camera.

These videos will be shown at the BCPhA Awards Gala in May 2026 and re-posted to the Association's website and social media channels. Winners will also be contacted to participate in a written profile in the BCPhA magazine, The Tablet.

Award Recipients will receive:

Coverage of travel costs (most economical option) to attend the Awards Gala, a complimentary ticket (and a plus one) to the Gala, along with a one-night stay (double occupancy) at the venue at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver for the evening of the Gala. Additional tickets to the gala may be purchased.

During the Awards Gala, recipients of each award category will be announced by an MC and their awards video will be displayed. Following the video, the recipient will be called onto the stage to receive their award. There will be opportunity for a short, two minute acceptance speech and professional photographs.
