Erin is a group and health insurance professional with more than 20 years of experience spanning the value chain of employee benefits, including various roles in consulting, direct insurance, reinsurance, and human resources. She is a management actuary experienced in pricing, underwriting, product development, marketing, and distribution.

Erin currently leads the market development team for Sun Life Health, where she is accountable for developing and executing market-leading Group product and marketing strategies and solutions. Prior to joining Sun Life, Erin led the Canadian Group line of business for a large global life and health reinsurer. She also previously held roles in individual health, digital mental health, research and development, innovation, and pricing and analytics. Erin began her career as a health and group benefits consultant with a large human capital consulting firm.

Erin received a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in actuarial science, with a minor in statistics. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA). Erin’s industry activities include serving on the CIA’s Advanced Professionalism and Leadership Course organizing committee, and on the SOA’s Group Life and Health Syllabus Committee.
