British Columbians can get their influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations at B.C. community pharmacies during the fall respiratory season.
This year, British Columbians living in long-term care and assisted living facilities began receiving their COVID-19 and influenza vaccines starting at the beginning of October.
Individuals registered with the Province will began receiving an invitation from the government's GetVaccinated system on Oct. 5, 2026, with those at the highest risk of severe illness and/or complications being prioritized. Immunization appointments will begin on October 13, 2026 and can be made through the Province's GetVaccinated system. Invitations will continue to be sent out through November.

In the fall of 2025, we welcomed dozens of B.C. political leaders into community pharmacies across the province — for conversations, tours, and to receive their seasonal vaccinations.
Looking for the RSV vaccine?
Beginning in fall 2026, B.C. is introducing a time limited publicly funded RSV vaccine program for older adults. One dose of an RSV vaccine (mResvia®) is recommended and free for:
- Adults 75 years of and older
- Indigenous (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) people 60 years of age and older
For individuals who do not meet the eligibility for a publicly funded RSV vaccines, it is available for purchase from select B.C. pharmacies.
